This is my submission for International Dot Day from my time at Nasco. I was provided children’s art that had been gathered from local students. The parameters were loose as to what I could do with the art and concept of the “dot” as is the idea and philosophy behind the movement. I physically scoured through boxes of student art and through email. Using Photoshop, I decided to represent many pieces by combining them in a nebulous/planetary design, where each dot within the overall larger dot contained one piece of individual student art.
